Asha is an innocent and meek girl who falls for the charms of Baldev Singh. They both fall in love and she gets pregnant. On finding out about her pregnancy, Asha is ashamed and scared but hopes that Baldev will correct the wrong and finally marry her. However, her hopes are crushed when he refuses to acknowledge her, let alone marry her. Asha is devastated and leaves, never to see him again. Soon she gives birth to a soin and swears that her son will avenge the humiliation his father has put them through.
The film is directed by S D Narang and produced by B N Darang and Rajiv Narang. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Ranjeeta, Asha Parekh, Shakti Kapoor and Prem Chopra.
