Kohram an action film of 1999 directed by Mehul Kumar starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Danny Denzongpa and Tabu in the lead roles. The film has Jaya Prada, Jackie Shroff as supporting cast.
The film is about the death of an army officer(Shroff) which is believed to be the act by terrorist group . Colonel Balbir Singh Sodhi(Bachchan) is asked to investigate the matter and he ends up doing so and discovers minister Veerbhadra Singh(Danny Danzongpa) is involved. Sodhi stages his own death in an attempt to kill Changezi(Mukesh Rishi) the terrorist head and starts living his life with a new identity of Dadabhai or Devraj Hathoda in Mumbai. Major Ajit Ara ( Patekar) is in guise of a Bengali journalist to get to the rock bottom in this case and once Arya discovers the truth he too join hands with Colonel Sodhi to catch the culprits and terminate the terrorists. Tabu is the police offer in love with Major Ajit Arya and Jaya Prada is Colonel Sodhi’s wife in the film.
