Rohan, played by Aftab Shivdasani and Simi, played by Anita Hassanandani are childhood friends and almost inseperable. Rohan begins to like a girl in his college named Preeti, played by Dipannita Sharma and tells Simi about it. Simi decides to help him and gets the two closer. However Preeti gets a little jealous of the closeness between Simi and Rohan. Meanwhile Preeti finds out that Simi is getting engaged to Vicky and her engagement is soon. They all attend the party where Vicky comes with his friend Ranjit. Vicky leaves the next day on a business trip while Ranjit comes to meet Simi during a party. On some pretext he gets Simi in a secluded room and rapes her.
Rohan reaches too late and chases Ranjit but he has a horrible accident and Ranjit dies. Meanwhile Simi has an accident while talking to Vicky after a few days. The doctor tells her that she is pregnant but abortion is too dangerous for her right now. No one seems to believe her that Ranjit had raped her. Vicky calls off the engagement. Rohan then decides to marry Simi. When the wedding day arrives Vicky comes back and asks Simi to forgive her. She agrees but realizes that she actually loves Rohan. Simi goes into labor and delivers a baby girl. Finally Simi and Rohan get married.
