Dr. Sonali, played by Juhi Chawla is treating four patients, who have different problems. One is Raja, played by Arshad Warsi who has a temper problem, next is Gangadhar, played by Rajpal Yadav, who is a schizophrenic, then is Dr. Mukherjee, played by Irrfan Khan, who is suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder and Dabboo, played by Suresh Menon, who has selective mutism. Dr. Sonali decides to take the four patients to a cricket match and gets the necessary permission. While waiting for her in the car, Dabboo sees Dr. Sonali getting kidnapped but doesn’t say a thing.
All the patients except Dabboo go looking for her but are unable to locate her. There Raja notices that the girl reading the news is his ex-girlfriend Shikha and has a weepy reunion with her. However later he realizes that she is already engaged to someone else and in a fit of rage he beats up her fiancé. Meanwhile they meet Sonali’s husband at a hotel and turns out he was the one who got her kidnapped. They all eventually locate her and help her escape.
The movie is directed by Jaideep Sen and produced by Rakesh Roshan and Sunaina Roshan. The story is written by Ashwni Dhir.
