Sonia, played by Rekha takes his grandson Krishna, played by Hrithik Roshan to a remote mountain area where she can conceal the unique abilities and supreme intelligence he has. One day a group of friends come for a picnic and notice Krishna who has the ability to climb trees and run fast. He becomes friends with Priya, played by Priyanka Chopra. He falls in love with her. She then calls him to Singapore to make a TV program, showcasing his skills. But Sonia objects to it. Being in love with Priya he secretly goes to Singapore.
Once there Krishan who becomes Krrish and saves lives many times and hides his identity with a black mask. He then is searched by Dr Siddhant, played by Naseeruddin Shah, who is a scientist and has taken Krrish’s father into captivity. When he learns that his father is still alive he goes to save him and kills Siddhant and frees his father. He then takes Priya, and his father back to India and tells the whole story to his grandmother Sonia, who is overjoyed to finally see her son Rohit alive.
The movie is directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The cinematography is by Santosh Thundiyil.
