Madhu, played by Shefali Shah is a dedicated housewife and a doting mother. She has no time for herself but makes sure her family is well taken care of. Thus when occasions like her birthday or anniversary comes she gets mighty upset when any one of them forgets. As her birthday falls on 29th February it comes once every 4 years. Her husband as usual has forgotten her birthday as she is disappointed with him.
Madhu decides to go shopping for herself and buys lots of things and also a car. At a café she happens to meet Raghav, who she suspects is a private detective. He plays along as he is wanted by the police for forgery, thanks to his girlfriend Ria, who has turned him in. She makes him spy on a cheating husband who is planning to kill his wife. Through their spying journey, Madhu and Raghav start to develop feelings for each other. Later when she learns that he isn’t a real detective she gets furious and heart broken. The police eventually arrest Raghav and Madhu returns to her family.
The movie is written and directed by Barnali Ray Shukla and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The music is composed by Pritam. The cinematography is by Bobby Singh.
