Vijay, played by Akshaye Khanna falls in love with Madhu, played by Urmila Matondkar. His parents agree to their marriage but Madhu’s father is strictly against it. All this changes the minute he meets Vijay. He instantly likes him and agrees to their wedding. He gives his blessings to the couple and plans to get them engaged by throwing a lavish party. When all the guests arrive, Madhu’s father Sukhiram makes a shocking announcement that he will never allow his daughter to be marriage to a man like Vijay and tells him and his family to get out of his house.
Vijay’s family is humiliated and leaves the house distraught. Soon Vijay decides to dig deeper at the actions of Sukhiram and learns that he is actually someone else who has had a plastic surgery done on his face to look different. He is in fact the man who has killed the real Sukhiram and is hiding from the police.
The movie is directed by Raj N Sippy and produced by Romu N Sippy. The star cast includes Ravi Kissen, Ashish Nagpal, Paresh Rawal, Kader Khan, Anant Mahadevan, Kiran Kumar, Achyut Potdar, Ghanshyam, Aruna Irani, Shalini Kapoor and Maya Alagh. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Dev Kohli and Indeevar. The screenplay is written by Anil Kalekar and the dialogues are written by Kader Khan.
