Dr. Vijay Verma is a kind and compassionate man who one day rescues a laborer from being attacked. He then takes matters further inspite of the village sarpanch telling him not to. This causes his assistant to be killed. The death of the assistant is blamed on Vijay as his wife Aarti, is accused of having an affair with him. He is tried in court and sentenced to several years in prison. When Aarti tries to get justice, she is molested by the minister Channdas. She then tries to kill herself but advocate Bharti rescues her and promises her justice. She is however unable to do much as there is immense pressure from her politician husband.
Meanwhile Vijay is released from jail and looks everywhere for his wife Aarti. One day he is shocked to see her with minister Channdas, but things aren’t what they truly seem. The film is directed by K C Bokadia and is produced by Suresh Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Pran, Hema Malini, Radhika, Charanraj, Asrani, Satyen Kappu, Kiran Kumar, Shafi Inamdar and Ramesh Deo.
