Thakur Shamsher Singh is a wealthy man, who has been making his money with illegal businesses like smuggling and drug dealings. No one dares to comes in his way, as he has several high ranking people and politicians in his pocket and can get his work done smoothly any time. When one newspaper editor tries to expose his business, he has his entire family brutally killed. This has brought in fear among the people and they dare not come in his way now.
Meanwhile inspector Kundan Singh is assigned the special task of nabbing Shamsher under any cost. He is transferred into his city to take matters into his own hands. Initially, Shamsher tries to bribe the officer but when that doesn’t work he resorts to other devious plans to bring Kundan and his family down to the ground so he can be the long reigning king of the underworld.
The film is directed by K C Bokadia and produced by DilipKankaria. The music is composed by BappiLahiri. The star cast includes Dharamendra, Jaya Pradha, Amrish Puri, Raza Murad,Parikshit Sahni,Mukesh Khanna, Mahesh Anand, Sudhir,Tej Sapru,Mack Mohan,Mahavir Shah, Farah Naaz and Beena Banerjee.
