During 1947, two brave people are still battling it out to save themselves and their country. There is a sudden crossfire unexpectedly that takes place in the Indo-Pak border. One is Samarth Pratap Shahtri, played by Manu Rishi, who is working as a cook in the Indian Army and the other is Rehmat Ali, played by Vijay Raaz, who is the Pakistani Army chief.
It so happens that Samarth is an Indian with Pakistani origin whereas Rehmat is Pakistani with Indian origin. With bullets and gunshots flying all over the two strangers meet. Initially they argue and fight about politics and Jinnah as well as Nehru but after a while form a human bond. They both their own experiences from the war that happened not so long ago with the wounds and memories of conflict still quite fresh in their minds.
They start realizing their origins and the movie then takes an emotional turn. The film’s central idea is to show how futile war can be and, that human beings and their emotions always come before everything else. The movie is directed by Vijay Raaz and produced by Karan Arora. The music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya. The cinematography is by Raaj Chakravarthy.
