Kanhaiya, played by Tusshar Kapoor, is kicked out of his house by his father for his unruly and lazy behavior. He along with his unemployed friend Rocky, played by Aftab Shivdasani, decide to take a break and go to Thailand. There, they happen to meet Mickey, played by Krishna Abhishek and he makes them an offer to work in porn movies. After much deliberation and desperate to earn good money, the duo accept Mickey’s offer.
Mickey makes adult versions of popular Bollywood movies like Sholay (Kholay), Kick (Lick), Chennai Express (Chennai Sexpress) and Singham (Lingam). Kanhaiya happens to meet a pretty girl Shalu, played by Mandana Karimi and falls in love with her. He proposes her and she asks her father to meet him family. Not being able to call his real family, Kanhaiya makes a fake one by calling some of his porn film crew to help out.
In a hilarious twist, Mickey and Rocky, both come dressed as Kanhaiya’s father. Things get even more funny, when his real dad PK Lele shows up. Shalu’s family learns of his porn videos in a video library and calls off the wedding. A dejected Kanhaiya goes to commit suicide but Rocky saves him and he decides to change his way. Eventaully Shalu and Kanhaiya get married and Rocky becomes a family movie director.
Kya Kool Hai Hum is directed by Umesh Ghadge and produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor. The music is composed by Sajid-Wajid.
