Anand Saxena, lives in a crime-prone area in Mumbai, as he cannot afford to live in a better locality. They are harassed and mocked by the goons in the area and at one point even have their vehicle burned in agitation. Meanwhile a don named Captain Dada falls in love with Anshu and changes his identity to Vijay. He pretends to be from a respectable family and doesn’t reveal about his criminal background. Soon he manages to woo Anshu and she too falls in love with him. However, Anand one day exposes Captain Dada and is humiliated. Captain not willing to give up on Anshu, promises to mend his ways and give up crime once and for all.
Captain’s boss Kalra is not happy with him leaving the crime world and asks his men to kill Dada. Kalra meanwhile wants his son to marry Anshu. The police commissioner meanwhile is on the lookout for Kalra and Captain and wants to make their death look like a police encounter.
The movie is directed by Shrikant Sharma and produced by Lawrence-Manohar. The star cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Dimple Kapadia, Manisha Koirala, Pramod Moutho, Raza Murad, Parmeet, Johnny Lever, Dinesh Hingoo, Jeetu Arora, Rajesh Joshi, Sanjeeva, Yogee, Milind Inamdar and Ankush Mohite. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan.
