Two Rajput families have been each other’s enemies since the longest time. They are the family of Prithviraj Singh and Bharat Singh. Their hatred gets Bharat’s nephew killed. After some time Prithviraj’s son Dharamraj has a baby boy who they name Deshraj. Meanwhile Prithviraj decides to end the enemity and invites Bharat to his grandson’s birthday party. He attends the party but the hatred is not over. He kills driver Chandu. Thus he decides to send Deshraj abroad to be safe and finish his studies in peace. Years later when Deshraj returns he falls in love with Laila, who happens to be the daughter of Chandu. Prithviraj asks Bharat to let his daughter marry his son. Hearing this Deshraj is furious and rejects the idea. He decides to marry only Laila, but he will have to pay a heavy price for his love. The film is directed and produced by Saawan Kumar. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Sunil Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Pran, Ramesh Deo, Satyen Kappu and Yogeetabali and Seema Deo.
