Laxmi, played by Monali Thakur is a 14 year old girl staying in a village and gets kidnapped by Chinna, played by Nagesh Kukunoor. He take her to his brother’s house, whose name is Reddy, played by Satish Kaushik. She gets raped by him and then sent to a brothel, which is run by Jyothi, played by Shefali Shah. Girls fear her but also confide in her. Laxmi later learns that she works for Reddy in order to pay for her daughter’s education.
Laxmi befriends the girls working there especially building a bond with Suvarna, played by Asha Saini. She meets a kindhearted woman named Uma who sometimes brings sweets and other sanitary items for the girls. While trying to escape from one of the clients houses, Laxmi is caught and beaten by Chinna and develops infection. Uma and Suvarna take care of her. She is then sent to a client who turns out to be an undercover agent and gets Reddy and Chinna arrested, and all girls are sent to a shelter home.
The girls fear for their lives, thus no one testifies against them so they are released and the brothel opens again where the girls are shifted back one by one. Laxmi is the last one and decides to take a brave stand with the help of a lawyer, played by Ram Kapoor. Laxmi testifies in court against Reddy and Chinna. Meanwhile Jyoti, who is been beaten by Chinna for her betrayal castrates Chinna and then slits her own writs and both die due to profuse bleeding.
The movie is written, produced and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The movie is co-produced by Elahe Hiptoola and Satish Kaushik. The music is composed by Tapas Relia.
