Nikhil, played by Ali Zafar, bumps into Lalitha, played by Aditi Rao Hydari, in London, when she misses her connecting flight to New York. They both become friends and decide to spend the day sight seeing and exploring the place. They talk about their ambitions and personal life. They eventually get close and begin to fall in love. Lalitha however tells him that she doesn’t want to be in a long distance relationship and he promises to come and meet her after 6 months in New York and they depart.
Later Nikhil comes to know that Lalitha has come to Paris and goes to meet her. He isn’t able to go to New York as he had promised and she is at first furious but later makes peace with it. It is later revealed that she returned to London but after seeing Nikhil in bed with a film actress she leaves heart broken. She decides to break his heart too and leaves for New York.
Unable to control his love for her, he comes to her house in New York. She then tells him about her soon to be marriage to an American and moving to Mumbai. He is heart broken and apologizes to her. Later Nikhil learns that Lalitha has called off her wedding and they unite. The movie is directed by Anu Menon and produced by Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya. The music is composed by Ali Zafar.
