Bhagat is a diligent Air Force pilot and lives a peaceful life with his wife Raksha and son. One day when visiting the bank they realize too late that it has been held up by robbers. Just then the cops arrive and in a moment of confusion, the robbers fire their guns and accidentally kill Raksha. Bhagat is devastated and unable to do anything. He sees the horrific site of his wife dying in his arms. He then swears to catch the culprits and works on every little clue he remembers from the crime scene. The film is directed and produced by Dev Anand. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Dev Anand, Mehmood, Tina Munim, Nirupa Roy, Dimple Kapadia, Amjad Khan, Prem Chopra, Shreeram Lagu, Shakti Kapor, Kader Khan, Om Shivpuri, Sujit Kumar, Sharat Saxena, Manmaujee, Jankidas, Ranjeet, Gulshan Arora, Narendranath and Kalpana Lyer.
