Geeta lives a blissful life with her husband Bhupinder. After
few years they decide to extend their family and Geeta is elated
with the news that she is expecting her first child. However the
happiness does not last very long as the child dies tragically
and this takes a huge toll on the couple, especially Geeta who
was looking forward to being a mother. The doctor’s make it
even worse for the mourning couple when he declares that
Geeta might never be able to conceive again. There is darkness
and loom in their lives after hearing this and this also strains
the marriage.
One day when travelling in a bus, Geeta happens to notice a
small boy left behind alone. She feels affection for the child and
brings him home and pretends like he is her own son. She
nurtures and loves him. Very soon a report is sent out for a
missing boy and turns out, the boy is the one Geeta found on
the bus. She is arrested and a case of abduction is charged on
her. The film is directed by Vijay Talwar and produced by
Sagar Sarhadi. The music is composed by Khayyam. The
cinematography is by Baba Azmi. The star cast includes
Farooque Sheikh, Shabana Azm and Swaroop Sampat.
