Nawab Saheb is a conservative man and believes in the old feudal law of his culture. His son Ayub however has a more modern approach to life and his thinking. His cousin Zubeda, who lives with them is in love with Ayub but he has no interest in her romantically. They both are doctors at a local hospital. One day a patient named Lubna comes to see Ayub and he instantly falls in love with her. She too falls for his affections. Soon they decide to marry but Nawab Saheb is against this union since she is the daughter of Kazi Saheb, their barber. To his shock, Ayub and Lubna have already tied the knot and are living at a friend’s house. After many appeals by his wife, NAwab Saheb finally lets Ayub and Lubna stay at their place. Nawab however dislikes Lubna. One day when her father comes to visit her, he insults him and throws him out of the house along with Lubna. Ayub is shocked to hear this and goes to get her back but Kazi refuses to let her go. Ayub warns them that if she doesn’t return in a day or two, they will have to face dire consequences. When Kazi takes Lubna back, they are horrified to know that Ayub has divorced her. Meanwhile Ayub realizes his mistake and wants to remarry her, but according to the Muslim law, Lubna will first have to marry someone else, divorce him and then remarry Ayub. The film is directed by Kabeer Rauthar and produced by T Mohammed and Prema. The music is composed by Manas Mukherjee. The star cast includes Kanwaljeet, Prema Narayan, Zaheera, M Rajan, Raza Murad and Veena.
