Kishen is an intelligent and free spirited boy living in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. His life changes drastically when he gets accused of murder. He now awaits trail at the Lucknow Central Jail. His life turns upside down and all his dreams and aspirations have been destroyed. He then comes across Gayatri, a hard-working and dedicated NGO worker, who decides to start a musical band of prisoners and the concert to be held in Lucknow Central Jail. Kishen then becomes close to Gayatri and decides to take part in the band selection as a ticket to his freedom. He then befriends 4 other band mates including Victor, Purushottam, Dikkat and Parminder and urges them to join the band with him. This is the film’s turning point and also of Kishen’s life.
The film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikkhil Advani. The film’s story is written by Aseem Arora. The star cast includes Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Rohit Roy, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq and Gippy Grewal.
