Thakur Ganga Singh is a respected man who lives with his unmarried sister Pooja, who he adores. She is soon to marry Surajban Singh’s son, but tragedy strikes when she is molested by Vikram Singh’s brother Balbir. Pooja beats up Balbir and tells his brother to throw him out of town. Meanwhile her brother Ganga shoots Balbir and is arrested and given the life sentence. Ganga then escapes prison and joins forces with a bandit named Bhawani Singh. When the latter is wounded, Ganga is asked to take over as the gang leader and he accepts. Ganga ends up become a notorious gangster and goes on a killing spree. Surajban breaks off all ties with Pooja and the marriage is called off.
Soon Pooja meets a kind man named Ajay and they both get married. However when Pooja comes to know Ajay’s real identity, nothing will be the same again. The film is directed by R P Swamy and is produced by Amar Gupta. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Deepak Parashar, Rameshwari, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Meera Madhuri.
