Anita is a protected and loved daughter of a millionaire called Bhateja. Babulal however wants to usurp her wealth and thus molests her and takes her pictures to blackmail her father. However his plan does not work as Anita kills herself. Soon Babulal kills their family doctor and takes his place. He then gets Bhatija married off to a bar girl named Sheeba. He then kills Bhatija and makes it look like she died in an accident. Fortunately he has made a will where everything goes to his daughter Nita and thus Babulal plan fails once again. Later he hires a criminal named Shankar who woos Nita and marries her. Nita falls in love with him and prays for his long life. Shankar soon realizes that he is making a mistake and hatches a plan to eliminate Babulal.
The film is directed by Yash Chauhan and produced by Kanti Shah. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Memant Birje, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Navin Nischol, Mandakini, Huma Khan, Puneet Issar, Shiva, Manek Irani, Raj Kishore, Mohan Chhoti, Satish Shah and Seema Vaz.
