Anand is an honest and hard working middle class man. He is one day duped by his own friend in a smuggling racket. Anand being honest doesn’t let this pass and reports the crime to the cops. His is considered brave and rewarded. His bravery is noticed by a wealthy industrialist’s daughter named Sunita. The two meet and soon fall in love. This doesn’t go well with her father Sohanlal who doesn’t want his daughter to be associated with a poor truck driver like Anand. Sunita is however adamant and elopes with Anand. This causes Sohanlal to have a heart attack. His conniving legal advisor Gupta takes full advantage of the situation and wants to usurp his wealth. He thus sends Sohanlal abroad for treatment while here he tries to kill Sunita hiring a henchman. It is up to Anand to save her and take control of the situation.
The film is directed by Ramesh Puri and produced by Amar Gupta. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the cinematography is by H Laxminarayan. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Sulakshana Pandit, Aruna Irani, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Om Shivpuri, Madan Puri and Lalita Pawar.
