Suraj, played by Mithun Chakraborty is an honest and diligent police officer. He keeps the law and order intact in the village under him. He is then promoted to the city to take care of a mafia don who has been terrorizing the people. He stays in the city with his sister Chanda. While in the city he also crosses paths with the dreaded dons Jackal Jackal and his brother Dhapat Jackal. The don finds Suraj’s interference in his business too much and decides to teach the police officer a lesson. They kidnap his sister Chanda and rape her. They also kill his father ruthlessly. Suraj is devastated at the horrible news and decides to avenge his sister’s and father’s death.
The movie is directed by Yash Chauhan and produced by Ashok Ratan. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Amrit Aryan, Alok Nath, Pramod Moutho, Aroon Bakshi, Tej Sapru, Brij Gopal, Arjun, Kiran Kumar, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Zahida Khan and Karina Grover. The music is composed by Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen and the lyrics are written by Nawab Arzoo and Maya Govind.
