Alia, played by Shenaz Treasurywala is a happy go lucky and ambitious girl who works as a casting director in Mumbai. She feels like she has the flawless life with great friends and now needs a great guy in her life. All her friends are either married, engaged or dating someone. They all are constantly trying to fix her up with a guy but she has had enough of their interference. She decides to take matters into her own hands.
She happens to meet an out of work actor called Sukhwinder Singh or Suki, played by Barun Sobti, who is a true blue Punjabi at heart from Delhi and is waiting for his big break in movies. Alia hatches a plan to makes Sukhi her fake boyfriend so her friends will leave her alone. They all seem to like Sukhi and he becomes friends with Alia too.
Meanwhile Alia’s friend Abhay who is dating another girl confesses to Alia that he likes her and she too likes him. A heartbroken Sukhi who also has started having feelings for her decides to move out of her way. But eventually she realizes that she loves Sukhi and not Abhay and they unite. The movie is directed by Adeeb Rais and produced by Pooja Gujral. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri.
