Raina, played by Kareena Kapoor is an orphan and Samir, played by Salman Khan falls in love with her and they decide to get married. They relocate to Melbourne and Samir works as a stockbroker, while Raina works at a local restaurant. Samir’s work doesn’t do so well and they run into financial trouble. He then decides to leave for Singapore alone to restart his career, while Raina will go back to Delhi and wait for him. A heartbroken Raina then meets Aakash, played by Sohail Khan at the airport after Samir departs. They becomes good friends and he helps her get a better job at the airport. He starts to fall for her. Later Raina learns that her residence visa is going to expire and she will have to exit the country. Aakash then suggests that she have a fake marriage to Aakash to get residency. She hesitantly agrees seeing Aakash as a good person.
Meanwhile Samir comes back from Singapore, where his business is doing exceptionally well. He is surprised that Raina shows no interest in his success and finds the marriage papers of Aakash and Raina. After explaining the whole situation, the two decide to give their marriage another chance. While Aakash finds another Mrs. Khan who he befriends.
The movie is directed by Prem Soni and produced by Sohail Khan and Ronnie Screwvala. The music is composed by Sajid-Wajid.
