Bollywood filmmaker and actor Dev Anand is on the lookout for a new actress for his upcoming film ‘Main Solah Baras Ki’. He auditions hundreds and thousands of teens for the movie, but is unable to find the perfect choice in India. He thus decides to go to the UK to find his actress. There he meets a beautiful girl called Tina and instantly likes her. He then auditions her for the role and confirms her. While still in the UK, Dev also meets another energetic and pretty teenage named Madhu Mehra. She is a big fan of Dev Anand and wants to be the actress in his movie. But he sees her as a young teenager and nothing more. This upsets Madhu and she makes up her mind to woo the actor and make him see her as a woman and not as child.
The movie is directed and produced by Dev Anand. The star cast includes Jas Arora, Sabrina, Tanya, A K Hangal, Satyen Kappu, Anant Mahadevan, Harish Patel, Urmila Bhatt and Supriya Karnik. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Amit Khanna. The cinematography is by Patni Brothers and the choreography is by Dinesh Balraj and Madhab Kishan.
