Kishan is a brave and honest forest officer who gets into the bad books of notorious criminal Thakur Dayalu and corrupt cop Kiran after the former tries to refrain their illegal wild animal trading and killing. They thus get him suspended from his job and frame him for a murder. He gets 7 years in Jail. Meanwhile Thakur and Kiran set their eyes on Kishan’s wife Jaya who is now all alone and try to molest her, but their pet baby elephant called Ramu, rescues her along with her son. A girl called Jugni has also been a victim of the Thakur’s torture after her father was framed for her husband Gopal’s murder. Few days later Kishen escapes from jail with the help of Ramu. He goes on a rampage looking for Kiran and Thakur.
Ramu gives the family a safe place to stay in the forest but Kiran follows the elephant and finds them. He tries to shoot Kishen but Ramu snatches the gun just in time. Jugni then comes back to her senses and kills Thakur Dayalu and avenges her husband’s death. The film is directed by Vijay Reddy and produced by K C Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Jayapradha, Anupam Kher,Kiran Kumar,Tej Sapru,Khurshid,Sunny Deol,Rajesh Khanna,Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sridevi.
