Shankar is an educated and obedient son to his widowed mother who is based in Ramgarh. It is her wish that Shankar marry Lajjo and settle in life. In spite of knowing that Lajjo is uneducated, he still goes ahead with the wedding to honor his mother’s wishes. Lajjo is very immature and this frustrates Shakar. She can hardly distinguish between salt and sugar. He thus hatches a plan to get away from her and relocates to
Bombay. He then writes to his mother saying that he has found a good employment opportunity there and will be staying back for a while.
For many months on end there is no news or letter from Shankar. This worries Lajjo and she travels to Bombay to search for him. Soon she locates him and moves in with him, mush to Shankar’s displeasure who is having an affair with the rich and affluent Reema. The film is directed by Bhisham Kohli and produced by K K Chug and Siddarth Anand. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan. The star cast includes Kajal
