Eight-year-old Shannu (Deva Nandha), whose favourite god is Lord Ayyappa, longs to travel to Sabarimala. Despite Shannu's persistent requests to her father, this has long been an unrealized ambition. An unpleasant tragedy occurs out of the blue, upsetting Shannu's family. Shannu and her brother Bujji (Sreepath) make the independent decision to travel to Sabarimala. Shannu is continually the target of a child trafficker. Has everyone made it safely to Sabarimala? Has the kidnapper been defeated? What part does Ayappan (Unni Mukundan) play in this narrative?
