Dev, played by Aamir Khan is a fun loving and happy-go-lucky man, who agrees to marry Anita. He meets Priya, played by Manisha Koirala on a cruise, who is engaged to marry Raj, as he helped her in her troubled times. Raj likes to spend time and talk to Priya. She however initially dislikes him due to his Casanova behavior, but soon falls in love with him. Both soon realize that both of them are engaged to other people. They decide to meet again after 6 months to get together. In the 6 months Dev gives up his womanizing ways and works hard and makes paintings to be auctioned.

 

Priya is indebted to her fiancé Raj and thinks it is wrong to leave him and writes an emotional letter to Dev, which Raj reads by accident. He then encourages Priya to go to Dev. Sadly on her way she has a horrific accident and loses both her legs. Dev on not hearing from her thinks she has moved on and is heartbroken. Years later he meets her and sees her condition and embraces her. He tells her that he will love her no matter what. Both soon get married.

 

The movie is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria. The music is composed by Sanjeev Darshan and lyrics are written by Sameer. The cinematography is written by Basha Lal. The star cast includes Dalip Tahil, Neeraj Vora, Satyen Kappu, Anant Mahadevan, Paresh Ganatra, Deepti Bhatnagar and Rani Mukherjee.
