Rajeshwar lives a wealthy lifestyle with his businessman father Dharamraj who manages a company with his partners Dhanraj, Reddy and Nagendra. Rajeshwar is a simple man and falls in love with his schoolteacher’s daughter Bharti. Bharti’s father Vishnupratap works in the school that is run by Dharamraj. It is managed by his partner Dhanraj who exploits the teachers and has not given them a fee hike in years. This has lead to financial troubles for the teachers including Vishnupratap and he is unable to provide well for his family. Meanwhile Bharti’s neighbor Tilak is unemployed and his mother Sharda, works as a maid in Dhanraj’s house. Tilak gets employment in Dharamraj’s company and works as a manager. He begins to expose the wrong doings of his partners in the company. One day Dharamraj happens to run into Sharda and realizes that Tilak is his nephew. Soon things take a aturn for the worse when Dharamraj is killed and the blame comes on Tilak. The film is directed by K Bapaiah and produced by D Rama Naidu. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Jeetendra, Sridevi, Jayaprada, Amjad Khan, Kader Khan, Prem Chopra, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Shreeram Lagu, Shatrughan Sinha and Waheeda Rehman.
