Ram Chaunhan lives a poor lifestyle working as a farmer and lives with his brother Laxman. He ends up falling in love with the rich Laxmi, whose father Raghupati isn’t happy with his daughter’s choice. Laxmi gives birth to son Vijay but Raghupati makes the sole beneficiary of his wealth to Shrinath. Laxman is furious at this and a fight ensues where Ram gets killed. Meanwhile Laxmi gets separated from Vijay and he is then adopted by a man named Bannerjee. Laxman then kills Shrinath’s goons and is arrested. In prison, LAxman comes to know that Shrinath has not only conned Raghupati but also killed him. He then escapes jail and is hell bent on bringing Shrinath to justice.
The film is directed by K Bapaiah and is produced by Anil Rathi. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film’s cast includes Jackie Shroff, Navin Nischol, Dharmendra, Poonam Dhillon, Kimi, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Asrani and Raj Kiran.
