Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota ,is a 2018 film released on 21st March 2019, produced by Ronnie Screwala under the banner of RSVP Movies and is directed by Vasan Bala . The film stars debutant Abhimanyu Dassani, Radhika Madan, Gulshan Devaiah and Mahesh Manjrekar with Jimit Trivedi.
The film is about a young man who has a rare condition of congenital insensitivity to pain and is on a pursuit to defeat his enemies. Abhimanyu Dassani the new launch made his debut with this film in the pivotal role.
Surya (Abhimanyu Dassani) with the rare disease is raised by his father and a mischievous grand father. With this congenital insensitivity to pain disease school, he found it very difficult not to be bullied by his classmates and other boys. He finds a comfort level with Supri his neigbour (Radhika Madan) and he learns to tend to his own wounds. Influenced by the martial arts films on VHS tapes, thanks to his grand father’s peculiar collection, Surya gets influenced by the 100-man karate fought by the mysteriously with one leg champ called the Karate Mani. Supri and Surya go in their respective direction to pursue their purpose in life.
Surya when he leaves the house is determined to find his mentor his childhood idol, Karate Mani portrayed by Gulshan Devaiah. In search of him he finds himself in the same building where he and Supri had parted ways. Surya realizes his quest is to look for the mentor’s locket as it means more to him than anyone else can care.
