Raju, played by Rajpal Yadav works as a auto rickshaw driver in Mumbai. He lives with his wife Seema, played by Divya Dutta and adopted son Babu. Raju loves to buy lottery tickets inspite of Seems getting annoyed with him for doing so. Hard working Raju has big dreams not just for himself but for his son Babu too. He therefore tries his luck to get him admission at the renowned Bata Ryan School. He is not only rejected but also insulted and abused by the principal of the school.
Dejected Raju makes up his mind come what may, he will make his dream of seeing his son well settled and education come true. He thus, enters an auto rickshaw race, where the winner will get a price money of Rs 10 Lakhs. He then comes to know that the race is organized by a gangster named Veerubhai, who already is at loggerheads with Raju. But Raju is determined to still win the race against all odds and prove his worth to the world.
The race begins in a promising way but along the way a horrific accident occurs where Raju’s rickshaw is turned over by a lorry and he has to stop even driving a rickshaw get look for an alternative profession. The movie is written and directed by Vikram Pradhan and produced by Siddhanta Ashdhir and Vikram Pradhan. The music is composed by Chinar – Mahesh and cinematography is by Dhananjay Kulkarni.
