Purnima is a beautiful girl who one fateful day gets raped by a
lustful stranger. She is devastated about the incident and so
shocked that she is unable to tell anyone about it, not even her
parents. However when she finds out that she is expecting a
baby, all hell breaks loose and she tells her parents. Her father
dies of shock upon hearing this news. Purnima decides to abort
the baby but it is too late and she eventually gives birth to a
baby boy but abandons him. Soon Purnima remarries and has
another child named Aman. However her previous child also
comes to her care and she names him Rajan.
Aman and Rajan grow up as loving brothers but eventually
they become each other’s rivals. Things get so complicated
between the two that they also fall in love with the same
woman named Meena. Then one of the brothers is murdered
and the other is accused of the crime. The film is directed by C
P Dixit and produced by Ranjit Virk. The music is composed by
Laxmikant Pyarelal and the cinematography is by Munir Khan.
The star cast includes Suresh Oberoi, Feroz, Mandakini, Anita
Raj, Shakti Kapoor, Parikshit Sahni, Pinchoo Kapoor, Rajesh
Puri, Guddu and Hina Kausar.
