Roopa, played by Twinkle Khanna has her marriage arranged by her only brother in Chandanpur. During a celebration, a group of terrorists attack the village and Roopa’s family is brutally murdered. Roopa is then targeted by the terrorists who want to kidnap her and take her with them. She somehow escapes by jumping off the waterfall. A devastated and tragedy struck Roopa swears revenge for her family’s death. Roopa then meets Kishan, played by Aamir Khan, whose clothes she steals. She then joins him and his close friend Shankar, played by Faisal Khan to find the terrorist who destroyed her life and her family’s.

 

Soon Kishan falls in love with Roopa but Shankar warns him that she will bring them nothing but trouble. Roopa feels guilty and tells them her full story abut her marriage and her family being brutally slaughtered. Kishan is upset and leaves but Shakar stays on and considers Roopa his sister. Soon they unite and the terrorists are arrested. The movie is directed by Dharmesh Darshan and produced by Umed Jain. The music is composed by Anu Malik, Rajesh Roshan and Lesle Lewis. The cinematography is by Rajan Kinagi.
