Raj Saxena is a happy-go-luck man who falls in love with one of his fellow college class mate Rati Verma. The latter then decides to introduce him to her father who is a respectable Major. When her father digs deep about Raj’s family and background, what he finds appalls him and he demands his daughter stay away from him. Turns out, Raj’s father Anand Saxena was ousted from the police duty for corruption and betrayal and the family now holds that stigma. Raj is humiliated by Verma and ask to leave. Raj then makes up his mind that he will clear his father’s name and joins the police force himself. Little does he know that the same people are waiting to exploit him and take him for a ride just like they did with his father. The film is directed by S V Rajendra Singh and produced by Ranjit Virk. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Rati Agnihotri, Jayaprada, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Pran and Nirupa Roy.
