Mera Gaon Mera Desh is an Action-Crime Thriller Romantic Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Raj Khosla. The Story revolves around the life of Ajit (played by Dharmendra)- A Criminal surrenders himself to the Police after an incident. He completes his Sentence and falls in love with Anju (played by Asha Parekh)- living in the neighboring village- which is haunted by a Fearless Dacoit- Jabbar Singh (played by Vinod Khanna). Ajit tries to bring him down- but Anju gets abducted by Jabbar's man, leading him into rage and vengenance.
