Kush, played by Imran Khan and Luv, played by Ali Zafar are brothers who cannot do without each other. Luv has recently broken up with his girlfriend Piyali, played by Tara D’Souza and wants Kush to help him in finding a suitable bride for him. Kush looks almost all over the country until he meets Dimple, played by Katrina Kaif.
Dimple is a bubble and outgoing girl and Kush feels she would be ideal for his brother as a bride. He arranges for Luv and Dimple to meet and they agree to marry each other. During the wedding preparations however, Kush and Dimple realise that they love each other and hatch plans to get married but fail.
Kush gets an idea to convince Piyali that Luv still loves her and convinces them to get married while he and Dimple can peacefully tie the knot as well. He puts a condition for their warring parents that only if they allow Luv to marry Piyali will he marry Dimple and the parents finally bow down to their wishes.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. The music for the movie is composed by Sohail Sen.
