Mere Lal is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Satyen Bose. The Story revolves around the life of Badshah (played by Dev Kumar)- A Simple Man turning into a Dacoit for revenge and gets evades from the Police and saved a Girl named Jamuna (played by Indrani Mukherjee) from danger and both fells in love and relocates to another town and started a new life. Badshah founds an orphan child at Seashore and named him Pappu (played by Master Anwar) and adopted him- this creates a misunderstanding in relationship with Jamuna and she leaves him. He takes care of Pappu as his son and left criminal activities and starts earning by Hardwork. However, years later- her real mother- Madhu (played by Mala Sinha) recognizes him and wants to move with him, Badshah agrees to take Pappu with her- but they both had an attachment- that can't be broken.
