Mere Pyare Prime Minister to be released on 15th March 2019. A social drama film directed by Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra starring Anjali Patil, Om Kanojiya, Atul Kulkarni, Makarand Deshpande, Niteesh Wadhwa and Rasika Agashe.
The story is about an 8-year slum boy who decides to write a letter to the Prime Minister after his mother is raped. The boy who has dreams of building a toilet for his mother. The film highlights the life of four children living in the slums in Mumbai and the relationship they have with their mother. Anjali Patil in the role of the mother who gets raped.
The courtship in the film between a young man and the woman, a victim of rape. He gets her tested for STD (Sexually termite disease). Noticing her shame, he gets tested first to put her at ease. Though there are kids in the films Mehra has clearly voiced his opinion that this film is an all-out Adult film.
Mere Pyare Prime Minister film is a harsh reality of fun, filth, fairy tale, sex, drugs and the filthy life in the slums.
