Shriram is an honest and tough police officer who keeps the law and order in his city. He will not let any criminal take advantage of the system and get away with illegal activities. He has a reputation for being a ruthless cop. Beneath the tough cop image is a doting brother who adores his sister. Soon Shriram finds out that his only sister is in love with a college friend named Umesh. Before he could give them their blessings, things take a turn for the worse and the young lovers are brutally murdered. Shriram now decides to turn the tables and take law into his own hands to get justice for his sister. The film is directed by A T Raghu and produced by U S N Babu. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Rajnikant, Mohnish Behl, Zeenat Aman, Komal Mahuvakar, Shreeram Lagu, Monty, Rajendranath, Kader Khan, Sonia Sahni and Manjula.
