Meri Bahen is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Hemchandra Chunder. The Story revolves around the life of Romesh (played by KL Saigal)- a kind-hearted man living with his sister- Bimla (played by Akhtar Jehan)- a sweet girl and works hard for her fortune and wanted a better life of her- he fells in love with Krishna (played by Sumitra)-a sweet girl at the time of WW2 and wanted a fortune for his family- but an incident causes trouble to Bimla and causes circumstances, leading to consequences.
