Vijay is a hard working man who works as a stunt man in films. There he meets the beautiful and charming Renu and falls head over heels in love with her. Soon he comes to know that she has fallen for a wealthy man named Dinesh. This breaks Vijay’s heart and he is devastated. Just when he thinks he has found solace in the arms of another woman named Kamini, she turns out to be money crazy as well. Frustrated, Vijay decides to become wealthy and joins the gang of a notorious don named Shamsher. When he comes to know that Kamini has married a wealthy businessman in Kathmandu, he goes there posing as a diamond merchant to teach her a lesson.
Later as fate may have it, Vijay comes to know that Dinesh is Renu’s brother. He is elated and tries to woo her back. Meanwhile his sister Asha comes to know of Vijay’s illegal trades and criminal life. He promises his distraught sister that he will leave everything to lead an honest life, but Shamsher will not let that happen anytime soon. The film is directed by Moreen Amjad and produced by Shantilal J Sopariwala. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Moon Moon Sen, Kalpana Iyer, Urmila Bhatt, Shakti Kapoor, Shiva Rindani, Girish Karnad, Mazhar Khan and Amrish Puri.
