DSP Pratap Sinha is a diligent police officer who has a reputation for nor forgiving criminals. He has brought many to justice and continues to keep the city’s peace and regulations. One day however during duty, Pratap runs into a widow and is shocked. Turns out, the woman is non other than his old lover Sapna. He is devastated to see her plight. Sapna on the other hand is startled herself to her him in a police uniform, as she remembers him being a coward who was afraid to rescue her from a bunch of goons. Pratap remembers his mistake and wants to now correct it, but Sapna will not give him another chance at any cost.
The film is directed and produced by Mirza Bros. The music is composed by Ajit Verman and the story of the film is written by Humayun Mirza, Mahrukh Mirza and Shahrukh Mirza. The cinematography is by Nadeem Khan. The star cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Vijayeta Pandit, Mazhar Khan, Sharukh Mirza, Manjit Kaur and Asha Sharma.
