Mitali, played by Rituparna Sengupta is a top model and an independent strong headed woman. She is usually cautious in all decisions she takes in life. One day she happens to meet Karan Mittal, A wealthy business tycoon’s son and heir to one of the richest families in the country. Karan is besotted by Mitali and wants to have her at any cost. He out of no where appears at her place with his parents to ask her hand in marriage. Mitali’s parents can hardly believe their luck and agree instantly to the marriage. Mitali too is surprised and feels in love.
Karan and Mitali have a grand wedding and a blissful life awaits or so she thinks. Not even a few days into her marriage her nightmare begins. Her mother-in-law creates several misunderstandings between the couple and is abusive with her words while her father-in-law has no say in anything. Karan becomes violent and abusive both physically and verbally to Mitali and one day rapes her. Having had enough of suffering, Mitali decides to take matters in her own hands and walks out of her in-laws house and files a case against the family.
Karan on the other hand files a counter case against Mitali hiring the best lawyer in the country. Things get messy and life is not what Mitali thought it would be. Her world comes crashing down. But she will not give up till she gets justice. The movie is written and directed by Karan Razdan and produced by Rajeev Kore and Dinesh Chugh. The cinematography is by Rajendra Prasad.
