Bharti loses her mother at a young age and lives with her blind father. She is a hard working law student and studies hard. She is a die-hard fan of the musician Ravi Shankar and makes sure that she never misses his concert. However one day during one of his concert, Ravi is arrested by the police. Bharti is shocked to see this. He then forcibly abducts Bharti and marries her. They both then hide away from all. Later it is revealed that Bharti and Ravi conspire to get his sentence overturned. The cops are however hot on the trail to arrest them.
The film is directed by K Bapaiah and produced by Firoz A Nadiawala. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Parchuri Brothers. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Jayaprada, Padmini Kolhapure, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Shreeram Lagu, Satyen Kappu, Asrani, Rajesh Puri, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Ashok Saraf, Roopesh Kumar, Manek Irani, Divya Rana and Urmila Bhatt.
