Gautam is a honest and tough Army officer who is close friends with his fellow officer Ajit. He is asked to deliver a letter by his colonel but on his way gets gravely injured and is helped by a local girl named Gauri. She nurses him back to health and both soon fall in love. Gautam promises her that when he is back, he will marry her. He comes back only to the devastating sight of Gauri being brutally molested. He finds the culprits and gets them arrested. When Gautam returns home his mom forces him to marry a girl named Madhuri. Left with no choice he marries Madhuri. Just as happiness starts to enter Gautam’s life again he gets the horrifying news that his friend Ajit has been killed. On his wife’s birthday however he learns that Ajit is still alive and is overjoyed. Little does Gautam know that Madhuri and Ajit have been former lovers and he may lose his love once again. The film is directed by T Rama Rao and produced by D V S Raju. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Vinod Mehra, Ranjeeta, Tamanna, Madanpuri, Raj Bothra and Usha Kiran.
