The central government assigned Collector, Haridas (Mammootty), is the son of a local peon who returns to his home district. His personal and professional lives get complicated by the demands of the new position, which finally leads to a gap between him and his younger brother Sudhakaran (Rahman). In a risky game of one-upmanship, Sudhakaran joins a political group that is hostile to Haridas. One of IV Sasi's better movies, with excellent work from the cast as a whole.
