The movie is all about the lavish life that bar dancers live. Although these luxuries come at a high price and sometimes the dancers have to struggle a lot. The story of Mumbai Can Dance Saalaa has a very close resemblance to a successful bar dancer called Tarannum Khan who earned crores of rupees by merely dancing and impressing her guests.
The main character called Alia is played by Ashima Sharma who portrays the bar dancer Tarannum Khan. When she begins to earn a lot of money she gets tempted to get into other unethical practices like betting. A raid by the police gets her arrested and her life takes a downturn. From being very powerful and influential, Tarannum becomes vulnerable and weak.
Mumbai Can Dance Saalaa is directed and written by Sachindra Sharma and produced by Ranjeet Sharma under the production house of Ashima Films. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri with choreography from Ganesh Acharya and Lolly Pop.
